Receptionist guy was really nice and patient with the preexam. He was the only ok part of this experience. Dr was rude. I don't trust my new prescription because I was still having trouble reading the letters. I asked if it was normal that everything would still be blurry and she said she didn't know and to go see a specialist. I do need to see a specialist but I feel like she should at least know if it's normal to have trouble reading with the new prescription or not (I was guessing letters because I couldn't tell their shape, like whether an o was a d or a r was an e). I wanted to ask some basic questions about eye health but I felt pushed out before I could bring it up. It felt like a waste of time and money. Didn't find any glasses I wanted, nothing really my style. I didn't really want to get glasses there anyways after that dr/not really trusting prescription, and the lady who checked me out seemed to have a bit of attitude about me not picking out new ones. I asked for my pd and they said they didn't give that out so that I don't go elsewhere with my business. I asked if my prescription was able to be used elsewhere and she said it should be since it has the minimum amount of information needed by NYS. I don't really know if that's a nornal thing or not but honestly I don't think I'll try Visionworks again. Definitely not this location.

This place did so VERY POORLY fitting my Dad that he had to return the glasses. They should have know the frames were too big and they made him cross eyed! They took BOTH glasses with promised payment return and have NOT PAID YET for over a 5 weeks!! Contact is impossible and the store has no control over their corporate, they say. THEY STOLE MY FATHER"S MONEY AND ARE AVOIDING RETURNING IT! NO STARS!!!! can't post without a star but they don't deserve it! Stay away!!

Yes
Hello Karen, We accept hundreds of insurance plans over multiple states, so it's best to contact the location you wish to visit to see if they are in network with your specific plan.
No, but you will need recent exam to purchase prescription glasses.
Depends on the type of exam. If it is for glasses it can be $69. If for contacts it will be more. Glasses depends. They do have frames for $69.95 but lense options are what is going to cost money. You can always call or drop in to see if they have any specials. Currently do have a buy 1 get 1 half off sale. Also it is considered a medical facility. MASKS ARE REQUIRED
Hello Donald, Yes, an appointment is recommended due to social distancing. You can schedule one online at visionworks.com
Can you confirm
Go online to visionworks.com and set up an appointment. Its easy. All visionworks got a call center to handle the call volume that has gone up substantially because of the pandemic. Set up as a pick up with eyewear specialist.
Through an HMO like cdphp, fidelis & mvp but not straight medicaid.
