We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel within a 80 mile proximity from Cedar Point, we ended up staying here and I absolutely enjoyed it. We were very kindly greeted by Brian, certainly one of the best hotel receptionists I've ever had, he explained everything very well and was very personable. Room was modern, space was decent for the price, the hotel offered various amenity pumps in the bathroom (hand soap, lotion, body wash, hair shampoo, conditioner), it was a nice touch considering I left my shampoo at home. I noticed some little imperfections about the room, blackout blinds were off track and were hard to move, some random crumbs under the mattress as if it hasn't been cleaned, and some random dings in the entryway. Other than that, room was pretty much spotless and probably my favorite part of the stay was breakfast, TRU does breakfast the right way. Well done, Hilton!

The staff at this location was amazing. We were there for a funeral and they welcomed us with open arms. They let us hang out in the lobby without making us feel like we overstayed our welcome. The ladies in front and the one overnight guy that plays the guitar were super fun and kind. I only have 4 stars because the pool malfunctioned and was closed the 2 days the kids get a break from sitting at the funeral home, otherwise great place to stay.

Visited for a softball tournament. Very clean, updated, comfy beds. Large lobby fit our whole team for pizza dinner. Pool good size. Brian at front desk was amazing and went above and beyond for every guest that entered as we spent hours in the lobby. Will be back when we play again!

We were in Monroe for a funeral and chose this hotel because the room floors were wood-look vinyl instead of carpet. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Plus, the little store in the lobby offered a great selection (be prepared to pay for the convenience though). I needed throat lozenges before the funeral and did not have time to stop anywhere, but the convenience store had Halls cough drops. We will definitely be back because of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms.
