Great location and the staff is very nice and friendly, the beach is right across the street Wich is very nice. The unit is really big in size and over 80% is all original, kitchen is nice, the rest needs a total renovation, bathrooms are really bad, showers have black mold on the floors,( black mold is dangerous if you’re around) some rooms have very low water pressure, the furniture is very uncomfortable, the couch in the living room deeps in the middle, the beds are very uncomfortable, unit has a smell like and old place does. The doors to get out to the balcony are so so hard to open and have to be careful so you don’t hurt yourself. The curtains are really dusty and dirty there’s blood stains on some of them, The kitchen utensils are all outdated, The beach chairs and the bikes that they provide are not the greatest, most of the chairs are broken. The place gets really really loud when guests are there by the pool and when their in the units because there’s no one there after 5 PM. There is also lots of guests that invite family or outsiders to come and use the place and take all of the chairs and umbrellas for the beach, and we’re paying a lot of money to stay here and don’t have chairs or umbrellas to use on the beach. The staff does a good job to keep up and clean it but when the place is so old there’s not much you can do. The checkout procedure is ridiculous you have a list of things that you have to do, you have to wash all the dishes and put them away or put them in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher, empty all of the trash, All the linens and the towels have to be put in plastic bags that they provide and leave them by the front door after you leave the unit. The amount of money that you pay to stay here between off season is $1800-$2000 a week , or holiday season is $2500-$2800 a week , you shouldn’t have to do all of this. There is only 15 units here. The property manager the runs the places owns multiple locations and they are making money and shouldn’t let their places get to this point. Great location but in a meantime you still have to come back in your unit and should feel nice and comfortable. Vacation should be a combination of both enjoy the outdoors and the beach and come back and relax and enjoy your time in your unit as well.
