I use this florist whenever I send to my out-of-state Clients. It's a one stop shop and I don't have to spend hours searching for florist in different states. Also, they are family owned and operated so if I have any questions I know I can just call to speak with real people not a call center.

Where to start...I have been ordering flowers from Coast to Coast for roughly 18 years. Have always been my go to. My wife doesn't want jewelry, gifts, or anything else. What she wants for her birthday, Valentines day, or our anniversary is Flowers to which Coast to Coast has been coming through for me for a long time. However we went from 60-0 real quick. Ordered flowers like always for our 17 year wedding anniversary for delivery on a Sunday. Flowers were not delivered possibly due to being a Sunday (it said that on the website) understandable. Monday no flowers so I called the 800 number got nowhere and no call back, called again Monday no answers no return call, called tuesday nobody still had any answers. I finally was ready to write a terrible review on Google, BBB, and anywhere I could find....I stumbled on another phone number on the BBB website so called it....A wonderful gentleman named Art answered the phone...Listened to me vent my frustration and talked to me a little. Found out that business has been difficult with Covid, making arrangements with flower shops, and even his call center. Turns out he was one of the owners of the company. He promptly refunded my money and sent my wife the most beautiful arrangement of flowers she has ever received. Art went above and beyond to make things right. Included a card to my wife saying it was their mistake, not mine, and she should forgive me. lol.....It was a great gesture. I am a firm believer that there are always going to be problems, broken things, calls that arent handled right....but its how you handle them. Art handled things beautifully. Has redeemed the company with me and I will order my flowers from Coast to Coast for another 18 years....I thing we all have to be a little more understanding in these unprecedented times...business is not as usual anymore. I appreciate the time Art took to understand where I was coming from and do whatever he could to keep me as a customer.

I won't use Coast to Coast Flowers & Gifts Inc. (located in Sarasota FL) ever again. I placed an online order on May 2, 2020 for Mother's Day flowers to be delivered to my mom's house in Phoenix, AZ on May 9, one day before Mother's Day in order to avoid the Mother's Day rush. By around 5:00 p.m. (Arizona time) on May 9, the flowers had not yet arrived. I called Coast to Coast's 800 customer service number, and the lady who helped me said deliveries could be made as late as 7 or 8 at night and that the delivery person would always ring the doorbell. So we waited. No flowers arrived on Saturday, May 9. My mom and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, so we waited all day Sunday, May 10 (Mother's Day) to see if they would be delivered. Nothing arrived. My mom never left the house because of current shelter-in-place recommendations due to COVID-19, so she was always listening for the doorbell. She would regularly open the door to her house to see if the flowers had been delivered and that maybe the delivery man just forgot to ring the doorbell. On Monday morning, May 11, I called the same 800 number, and the guy who helped me said they would contact the delivery driver to see what happened. I rechecked my online account to make sure I hadn't made any typos in the address - no typos were made on my part. Four hours later, I still hadn't received a call, so I called the 800 number again. For the third and final time on Monday, May 11, I called the 800 number to see if I could get someone more helpful, but to no avail. The folks who answer the 800 number at Coast to Coast are extremely limited in how they can help when you have a complaint ... they're really there only to take orders. They cannot even give you a refund. They don't know or have access to the local flower shop that was used to design and deliver your flowers; they don't have access to previous call history documentation in order to familiarize themselves with your ongoing problem; and they have no idea as to when the delivery driver will call you back (a day? a week?). When something goes wrong and you've paid a lot of money for flowers that never arrive, and their customer service is so extremely limited in how they can help, you really feel quite helpless and cheated by Coast to Coast Flowers. I've had to call my credit card company to explain the situation, and they recommended I dispute the charge, which I will do. Hard lesson learned here. Don't use this place. It is far better to work directly with an independently owned local florist that is located close to your delivery destination, as opposed to using these 1-800 national services like Coast to Coast Flowers & Gifts Inc. in Sarasota FL. MY RESPONSE TO OWNER AT COAST TO COAST FLOWERS (MAY 15, 2020): Name is Katherine Miller. The order number for my online order placed on May 2, 2020 for May 9, 2020 delivery is #270810 (hyacinth and roses). Despite three phone calls to your 800 customer service number on May 11, 2020, NOBODY returned my calls, nobody emailed me, and none of your customer service reps had the ability to refund me. Now you have my name and order number. Look up my order number (#270810) and contact me. The owner wrote "I am confident that we reached out to you within a few days of your order as soon as we were aware of the problem." NOT TRUE. All of my calls to your 800 customer service number on May 11, 2020 went unanswered. Here's the entire call history with details to Coast to Coast, taken directly from my iPhone call history (all Eastern Time): May 9 at 7:53 p.m. (17 minutes); May 11 at 7:56 a.m. (6 minutes); May 11 at 12:12 p.m. (14 minutes); May 11 at 4:31 p.m. (12 minutes). Today is May 15, 2020 ... I still have not heard from Coast to Coast Flowers & Gifts Inc. via phone or email. I called them again today at 10:13 a.m. (14 minutes) and spoke to someone who said they would give the message to the owners (Arthur and Sylvia). It is now 1:32 p.m. Eastern Time, and still no response.
