Good for one night. To close to the freeway and premium spots not worth the $$. Plus the flies were awful there

Rebuttal to Justin Legge below: Funny how you claim our group’s behavior was the sole issue- but refuse to take any accountability on your end. Our "behavior" you noted was after hourssss of frustration & getting the run-around/lied to from your staff. Also, how can you properly recount the story when you were not on site all day? We tried asking for you/pleaded with your office staff to contact you in order to find a resolution around 3pm (all extremely cordial, apologetic & noting booking error on our end). After back/forth (still not hearing from you, Justin) the staff allowed us to move the trailer to the excess flow lot- out of the way- and said they would get back to us after contacting/hearing back from you. We never heard back until 9/10pm - to our absolute surprise! We assumed (since it had been several hrs) that everything was copacetic; we even offered to pay a full slot price just to park for the night. Furthermore, You (manager, Justin) never actually showed up to resolve this until almost 11pm to “kick” our friends out. Once we started filming the incident, you completely back peddled & then ended up agreeing to allow us to park- for free. Yes, it got heated initially (I think anyone in our situation would react similarly) but in the end, you shook our hands and made the agreement we asked for many hours previously. Once the cameras were away, you guys called the sheriff on us- cowardly move. We were asleep by then and no one was told to leave. You and your staff showed absolute incompetence & were unwilling to help - AT ALL- From the start! Thank u for your copy/paste response. Also, we do not run in the same group- none of us have mutual friends with any ppl like you/staff. Orig review: Worst experience at a KOA i have ever had. The staff couldn’t care less about hospitality or quality of service to their customers. They are so unprofessional, rude and unaccommodating. Which is no surprise once you meet the GM, Justin Legge. This guy is so rude & should never work in hospitality of any sort (just look at all of his responses to the negative reviews left by other guests). There is always an excuse as to why he and his staff gave a poor experience and never any accountability on his/their end. We had a situation that was very unfortunate & once confronted- we caught the office staff in 3 different lies. Stay anywhere but here. 0/5 stars and 0/5 for all staff. Grounds were decent but not worth the hassle!

This place was ok..but the staff was so rude I felt rushed and experienced no genuine service at all with the girl at the front desk. The manager seemed fake/cheesy and also got the impression that he was annoyed at everyone when customers needed help, the staff is rude and their facilities are outdated. This place needs an overhaul!

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had staying at a KOA! I’ve spent many years camping with my family at KOA’s all across America… this was by far~ the worst. The staff alone were literally incompetent individuals. It’s truly sad how the bs of covid has forced hires of complete idiocracy! The manager was an embarrassment to any work force, period. I highly recommend Never Stopping at this particular Koa~ head on north to Eureka or south to Willits where you will be treated with respect.. and not feel like trash! Highly disappointed and sad my bday weekend was ruined by such incompetence! Zero stars for sure. …. Also… thanks for your, once again impeccable copy and pasted response! What a joke. Y’all need to learn a bit of professionalism! But then again~ I understand your incompetence!
