God forbid you need to make an appointment if you call you 9/10 get hung up on and if you show up you never get answered waited 2 hrs for someone to set try and set my appointment which means they only have 1-2 people answering phones these people do not care about their job and such an important one where people homes and money is on the line

I changed my name on my SS since I filed my 2019 taxes. When I try to look up where my stimulus check is at it tells me my SS number is incorrect.
Why is it showing as incorrect and where can I find out when I will be getting my check?

I called the irs this morning and was informed that quite a lot of refunds with earned income credit and additional child tax credit were put on hold till today, due to being filed before Feb. 15th. Random picks of course. I was told to expect it 2 to 3 weeks from today.
