We love this general store and visit it every time we come to Ohio! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There are so many great selections. We always buy the Amish popcorn and bagged candies. Love that they offer the Rada brand knives! I have quite a collection now. So awesome they also have buckwheat flour, amazing made-there root beer and various honeys too as well as so many more gems! The area around the store is lovely. There are many trees, a nice playground for the kids and a large grassy middle section.

This beautiful place just takes you back in time! It was 100% worth the stop- and my family and I will be going back. So many things to explore inside: candles, dry mixes, baking needs (including a whole room full of cookie cutters, sprinkles, & more!), jams, jellies, peanut butter (with samples), cheeses, ice cream, salt water taffy, famous Fry Pies & so much more! Set in the idyllic town of Mesopotamia, OH- the General Store and Mercantile offers you a more than just products- it offers you a journey- an experience.

My first time here and it was nice. I liked the old style and look this store has. There were items that were homemade inside too. I think the price point of some items aren't at a good selling price but the place seems to be doing well.

Yes there is parking around the town circle
The Amish do not work on Sundays. This store employs several of them, therefore it is closed every Sunday.
Had such a good time after so much time stuck in the house. When we were there everyone were being safe. All workers and guests.
Why in the world don't you call them and ask them?
You're better off just calling them instead of posting it on Google..
In the gas station they have breakfast sandwiches but have to get there really early before the work crews. In the restaurant no they don't.

The End of the Commons General store is located in downtown Mesopotamia Ohio at the corner of State Route 87 and State Route 534. Directly across the street from the store along State Route 534 is a long rectangular Park with a gazebo flanked on both sides by a one way street.
