We just bought our home using The Larson Team. Our realtor was Amanda. Wow, I cannot say enough about how good she is. She always answered our calls and texts so quickly even though we sometimes reached out after normal business hours! She found us our dream home after one meeting/showing with us, after listening to what we wanted. She was so friendly, helped take the stress out of the process, she was always reassuring and positive! Now, a week after closing she checked in to make sure we were doing good. We are so happy with her! I will be recommending everyone I meet to go through The Larson Team and specifically Amanda. We expected a good realtor but we didn't expect to find a new FRIEND!!

Questions & Answers

Why is my home’s assessed value different from the market value?

Your home's assessed value and market value are each determined by different factors. Buyers and sellers affect the market value of a home, while county property appraisers calculate the assessed value. In a seller’s market, your home’s market value may be higher than its assessed value. That’s because buyers are willing to pay more than the home is technically worth because of low inventory. In a buyer’s market, you’ll be facing a lot of competition from other sellers, so buyers may put in an offer lower than the home’s assessed value.

How do I get my home ready before I sell it?

When getting a home ready to sell, one of the first things you'll want to do is make it presentable. What this means is giving the entire house a thorough cleaning and making small repairs, if neccesary. A thorough cleaning is mopping the floors, scrub the bathrooms, and get rid of any grime in the kitchen. Also, taking care of things like patching holes in the wall, changing lightbulbs that have burned out, and repairing any broken appliances, doing these little things can make your home stand out to potential buyers. Also don’t forget about paint — returning walls to a neutral colors can help your house sell quicker. White, creams, and grays can make rooms seem bigger and help potential buyers see themselves living there. If you’re not moving out before listing your home, you’ll also want to remove personal items, and declutter. Put away your family photos, knick-knacks, and other personal items.
