Simply put …. a nightmare . Another finish date missed its only been what 10 different dates ? Why bother giving dates when you know your never going to make it. Houses started and finished in half the time by other builders . The stress you cause is terrible . If you say anything they just stop working on your house. Slowest builder ever. 23 months and not even close to being done. Be prepared to pay way more then the contract you signed. They have way too many houses started and not finished. Use anybody but this builder. They do not follow up on permitting and very poor communication .

Owners fire single mother women, sick with Covid….and do not pay overtime pay!! Which is illegal by the way! Would never use them! Trust me, they are not responsible and blame everyone else for there horrible management,, karma will help with this…..good luck l first choice!! My opinion is last choice!!! Update: Better check your facts sir, and looks bad on a company to fire several people that had covid and were really sick!! You guys are horrible in dealing with employees and didn’t you all ask to see the photos that you stated were in question… that is slander!! That never was true and everyone deserves to know!! Also I have never worked for your company… only know the truth!

We signed with FCHB in March 2022. We did our homework and had a good sense of the wait times involved. We signed on for that. We received site plans this week, truss design ordered last month so that’s on them on when it comes back, and then off to permitting! Again, builder doesn’t control the county as far as that goes. All told, we’re about where we expected to be at 5 months in. Carla has always responded to me every time I’ve reached out, and we have our agent working with us as well who gave us a thumbs up when we asked his opinion on signing with FCHB. We’re fortunate enough to not be under a time constraint up here in Connecticut, and I think that makes all the difference! When our 1683 in SGC is ready, we’ll be there! In the meantime, we enjoy the occasional “excuse” to fly down and check in!

Good afternoon, The comment below is almost accurate.. The 1401 model starts at $217k and the 1683 starts at $233k. The contract has an allowance for standard lot clearing and fill in it already. There shouldn't be any additonal costs unless you need additional fill or massive amounts of trees to be removed. Gopher tortoises are common and do average $1200-$1400, depending on how many are located. We do a lot verifation to see if we can see anything before we start so that you have an idea of any additonal costs, if any. We would love to discuss further.
