The pier is past the elementary school at the end of Main St. Go around the school on the right side. There's a small parking lot and a path to the pier.
Yes you need a saltwater license. Currently is mostly spot, and croaker, some bluefish, trout, ray, skate, and occasional mullet. If you wish to fish without a license you can go to Yorktown pier on colonial parkway.
I haven't caught any in the years that I've been fishing there
