Told I couldn't speak to anyone in labs because they were with patients, which is fine if they could have had someone return my call. However, the receptionist said they would not call me back or could she answer my question - I would have to drive all the way back (to address my question/concern). She also had the audacity to say I didn't live 30min away and that it wasn't far, when I told her I couldn't make the drive back and that I was basically home already. The VA and their staff seem to forget patients have lives and work and can't just take off to address issues caused by the doctor, their systems, or their staff. Important to note, it was a time sensitive matter because I'm not allowed to get my medications without the tests and I only have a specific window.

Hi, sorry to hear that. I am an employee at one of the clinics. The Hillandale clinic was to be open. But they evacuated the building due to flooding and safety risk. Yesterday they was getting ready to move (due to the storm) to the medical center, but I stayed home today and not sure if they are seeing patients or not. But things was still changing as of yesterday. And some clinics called and cancelled appointments becuase short staff.
