First saw this on a new Bobby Flay show. He gave it good reviews so I decided to try it. First it's not too far from other great places so I decided to take a day trip. ( I live 114 miles away.) I save my pennies and make a day trip out of it. I get in the are have a quick Thai lunch nearby, walk around for a bit then go to Crumbs and whisker for a coffee and a sampler of the menu to take with me on the way back. I told them, like many others I'm sure, to take their time while I enjoy the environment. I used to have a small farm, no kill, but my current situation I have no animals so I treasure any time I'm able to interact with animals. It's very cathartic. It was awesome. I could describe it for you but your experience will be different and hopefully, but doubtfully, better. It was definitely worth the trip. Cats are great. Always had some on the farm. Highly recommend "cats" and "Crumbs & Whiskers."

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. OMG this is like literally heaven on earth for me. I love cats so much, and there are so many of them here 😍 it’s like on steroids. I am pleased. My heart is full. This place is spotless clean, cats are healthy and well-fed and well-taken care of, warm, professional & welcoming staff who are gladly taking pictures for you while playing with the kitties (thank you and shoutout to Amber & Anne, you both did an amazing job when I was there!). Hanging out with kitties really fulfilled my heart, I am so overjoyed with bliss and pure love, especially when cats are purring 🥹🥰 Totally worth the trip, time & money, 30minutes went by so fast when you are having a blast. Although they allowed walk-ins, I’d suggest booking an advanced reservation on their website before your visit to save time. Parking is plenty on the street, and make sure to leave your dogs at home 😉😆

Heart melted! Super cute spot for you to pet some furry friends. The staff offer a free Polaroid to each group and bring the kitties to you when you are shy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Great space where the emphasis is on the cats and not on the cafe. If your looking to adopt a cat this is the perfect way to do it. The cats are already pre screened to be friendly and it provides an easy environment to find a cat you have chemistry with

Yeah there are certain adoption dates
Should definitely make reservations first. Coffee and snacks are brought in from a shop down the street
$25 to play with the cats, that was with a coupon. And then normal cafe prices for coffee and pastries
Yes
I'm sorry I just visited 🫤
You can make a reservations online or take your chances by showing up. As far as drinks (non-alcoholic) and sweets are concern, you'll place the order there as you arrived and they will bring them to you. I hope I understood your question correctly and provided you with the answer.
Per person.
Hi there, you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer with us. Thanks! -Carly (Store Manager )
Hi Alondra! Currently, a 30-minute experience with the cats is a $25 contribution per person. A 70-minute experience is a $40 contribution per person. Any food or drink ordered is an additional cost, but ordering food or drink is not required for entry. Thanks! We hope to see you soon! Annie Assistant Store Leader, Crumbs & Whiskers LA
Hi! Our partner cafe does sell hot chocolate. The shortest experience we offer with the ability to order drinks is 30 minutes for a $20 contribution per person. We also offer 15 minute walk-ins for a $15 contribution per person, however we cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins and you are unable to order food and drink. All food and drink are an additional charge. Thanks! Annie, Assistant Store Leader, Crumbs & Whiskers LA
There is metered street parking on Melrose.
You are not allowed to bring your own cats. During the adoption process with the partner rescue, they will do a home check, as part of the adoption process, to see if the two cats are compatible.
They only allow age 7 and up for safety of the kittens and child.
All adoptions go through their partner rescue, The Cats Meow. The team at the store can help you fill out the application. Crumbs & Whiskers does not take cats directly.
Hi there, Yes! Thanks so much! As long as the wet food or dry food has not been opened or used, we can accept it :) -Carly (Store Leader LA)
Hi there! For 30 minutes, we ask for a $20 contribution per person. Thanks! -Carly (Store Leader)
Hi Sharon, We work with Stray Cat Alliance. If you would like some more information on them, their website is straycatalliance.org. Thanks so much! -Carly (Store Leader)
I went there at 4pm and it was time for snacks so the ladies working there gave us food to give them.

Hi there, We do allow private events at our location. We allow up to 22 people in the space at a time. Depending on how many people will be attending the party, we would be able to give you a price point. You can find out all of our info on private parties on our website at crumbsandwhiskers.com. Thanks so much! -Carly (Store Leader)
All of our cats are up for adoption at our facility. We have rescued them from high kill shelters and foster them at our cafe until they find their forever homes. You cannot bring your own cats here. Thanks! -Carly (Store Manager)
Hi there, We are partnered with Stray Cat Alliance, so we get all of our rescue cats from them. We do not take in cats. Please feel free to contact Stray Cat Alliance at straycatalliance.org. Thanks! -Carly (Store Manager)
I don't know if they change it, but they used to have a minimum age req of seven years old, but check the CatCafeLounge.
Hi there! Everyone needs to be at least 18 years old. Thanks! -Carly (Store Manager)
When I visited several months ago (and I assume it hasn't changed since) it was $25 for an hour and a half visit.
There is a service fee yes but you can choose from 20mins or 70mins. The 20mins you cant get cafe service though.
It's pretty recommended. I think they will take walk ins but only if there is available space. I might also recommend booking earlier to opening time or later after the cats have napped and ate in the evening...otherwise you'll be hanging out with a lot of sleeping cats like we were lol.
Yup, go in have a blast playin with them then talk to the staff there. They were all super nice and loved the cats too.
I believe an employee said the cats stay in the back room. Not 100% sure. Sorry
A couple of days unless it's a large party of people. It's an hour and half for each reservation. Also, depends in the time you wish to go.
When Iwas there last, there may have been 8 cats but i believe it varies.
You need a reservation but there's no designated tables or seating areas per se. They just allow a certain number of people in per timeslot so that it doesn't overwhelm the cats.
The coffees are under $4 and the visit itself is $22 on weekdays and $25 on weekends
It is $22 per person, I think. That is just to go in and play with them. No clue what adoption fee is.
