Innovation. Hardly a word I use when describing a restaurant. Service was good, manager greeted us at the door and the menu is the main draw. I ordered the pan seared strawberry shortcake duck breast. The flavors were amazing!

With it's upscale menu, classic bar rooms, and year-round patio dining featuring pastoral views, Rick's stands out even among the other excellent restaurants in the area, and in my few years in the area its become one of my absolute favorites. The staff is attentive, charming, and ever ready to assist all patrons from the most casual to the more discerning diners. The menu shows off the fantastic creativity and upscale sensibilities of the chef, and the kitchen really knows how to deliver on its promises, sending out precisely prepared meals in extremely reasonable time. Cocktails are another area where Rick's really excels, with interesting and creative offerings for every occasion. Don't think you've seen it all after a few visits, either, as their well-designed website allows the online menu to be updated frequently, and there seem to always be new offerings every time we go. Optional reservations ensure you won't miss out on patio dining in the beautiful, breezy afternoons and evenings in summertime, on on cozy and intimate igloo dining in wintertime. Go when it's snowing - it's like being inside a snow globe. Magical. Don't miss this place. I already said it was one of my favorites, hopefully now you see why.

Food was okay. I got the Mahi Soft & Crunchy Dino-Taco’s. There was little to no sauce on it, not even enough to taste it and only had some tomatoes and greens on it. It was pretty dry. Once I got home I put salsa on it and it was soo good! The drinks were very delicious! Our waitress kept walking away from the table literally as we were speaking. She kept doing this all night. It was actually hard to get a word in because she would just start to walk away…. It was odd. Then sometimes she would be really nice and suggest things off the menu when we had questions. There was a man who came up to our table twice who was extremely nice to ask how the food was and everything. That was really appreciated!

Absolutely the best place we’ve been to and will continue to go to. These folks are extremely passionate about what they do and create, and are not only extremely talented but creative making food and drinks. We always have the best time as the servers are super kind. They are accommodating too with allergies. Highly recommend going here and it’s worth the drive from anywhere! They care deeply about their customers and always make you feel special. ❤️
