Where can I get a referral from besides a school district can I get one from the local police department

Either will work. If you call in ahead of time and reserve a place in line and show your id when you arrive they wont ask you to work, but even without an id or calling in you can still just show up and they will have you help out with passing out the food baskets, nothing too extreme and they will hook you up with alot of stuff. You can also call 211 for directory assistance and directions on what to do exactly

If you don't make it by 7.00 you usually won't be able to volunteer

If you're Aunt has kids she can call the school and ask for a referral to the Gleaners for a food basket....she can call Love Inc....if she is a senior citizen, she can call Aging Adult Service Also if she is able to volunteer for few hours, she will get a basket or just call the Gleaners and they will give you all the info you need

Yes they will certainly help you. You have to call before hand to order a basket, but i dont believe there are any restrictions on who they are willing to donate food to and if you let them know your situation they will probably hook you up. Good luck

You just go to their location & help out & they will give you a voucher .. its really helpful & they give you a bunch of food .. the good stuff lol

I work for CAPK, call 211 and they will give you all the info you need to get help with food, maybe other info as well

I believe so but there around the corner is a other food place there's many places in kern that feed the homeless call 211 and ask for referral

I know they do partner with a couple schools. I would recommend calling the office Monday thru Friday 7 am to 11:30 am and ask to speak to Jason Terronez.

U get a referral from like I get Mine from the Whole Person Care Team. Through My Medical Insurance.
