I love it here, most dog owners are respectful and clean up after their dogs. I love that it's in the city but it's like we're in the woods which is ultimately our favorite place. My girl gets lost in the thick brush chasing whatever brave squirrel decides to come into the dog park LOL. They also have trash bags for your dogs if you forget and a water spout where you can refill water bowls if your dog gets thirsty. All in all it's a great place and a great use of space.

Hands down the best dog park in Providence’s East side. Plenty of room to run in a forest type environment. Your dog will thank you. Needs drainage work and gets muddy after a rain so withholding a star.

Rocky LOVES this place as do I!!! I love that he's able to run off leash without confines. The other dog owners are very responsible and pretty social depending on the time of day. We've only gone in the morning and it's always been great. Best dog park ever hands down!

This is the best dog park I've ever been to. Lots of natural play spots for the dogs, tons of space for them, and fresh water readily available. …

Questions & Answers

Does this place have a puppy area? Specifically a two month old Labrador puppy

A two month old Labrador puppy would do fine here in either area. The thing about the smaller area is there are not usually any other dogs for your pup to play with, good area for one on one with your pup. I think the larger open area in the back and the area leading up to that is very good. Most dogs will play according to the size and age of the newer, younger dog. Everyone keeps a watch on the dogs so I feel your dog would be safe and really enjoy the socialization. You can keep a leafd/leash with you but let your pup walk free (I believe a pup in a leash around unleashed dogs is a little bit of a target) and always attach if you are feeling nervous.
