Nice walking paths and plenty of geese to watch.

This park is always nice and quiet. My son has baseball practice here. Every now and again I will notice something shady going on but I guess that's most parks or public places in general.

Often empty, never disappointing. Simply listening to bird calls, it's difficult to leave.

I always walk between the park boundary fences and the creek that runs through the canyon with my dog. We go from the south edge of DRO over to the Frog Pond nature reserve. There are almost always dog mitts available for poo-picking and the fence lines are kept well mown. Plus the paths down the hillside are well trimmed so that the dog's not walking through branches or potential poison oak! Very glad to know this hidden part of Monterey!
