So disappointed. I had wanted to take my sweet little Yorkie mix here for so long because it looks quaint and lovely with the trees and walking paths. I was a bit apprehensive about there not being a small dog section however my guy gets along with pups of all sizes and the dog park is in a nice area, so I figured we would be ok. Two large dogs were stalking the front gate as we calmly approached - a large brown boxer/American bulldog looking male and a equally large bridle bulldog mix. They were quiet but intensely focused on my little guy. Upon opening the inter gate, the brown dog tried to crowd in on me to sniff my dog who was behind me. Even though I commanded this dog back, calmly but firmly, he still kept pushing forward which made me very uncomfortable so I immediately scooped up my little guy. It was them I realized that the brown dog had stood up on his hind legs and wrapped his arms around me to attempt sniff my dog in my arms. I tried to move back into the gated area and thankfully his owner came to pull him off of floor at that time so that we could escape. Neither my dog nor I were injured, but this could have gone badly had I been an elderly person or a child. Drove away and realized that I had a huge drool mark on my shoulder from this dog being on my back, and made me realize how close this could have been to a very bad situation. I have never been so scared with my little guy in the thousands of places we have been together, will never go back and would never recommend this part to anyone that cares about their dog’s safety. TLDR: not recommended for Small dogs for their disabled, elderly, or unsupervised children companions.

Edit; Used to come here a lot but might need to switch it up. My dog was attacked here without any provocation. Puncture mark on his body/shoulder.

Fantastic park such a great thing for a member of the community to do. Only wish people who used the park as often as they did would contribute with something even as little as picking up their dogs poo though.

My dog loves this place and I love taking him here. We've been going to this park for 4 years now. We enjoy the park, the people, and the friendly dogs. It's like being a part of a family. The park is fenced so even the smallest sure can be …
