LA fitness in Whittier has everything you need to keep you in shape. Rather you want to do aerobics or work out by stretching on the mats or in a personal workout zone or just with dead weights and or machines, it's very inspiring to work among those who are serious about keeping fit.

Opening hours keep decreasing and they rent out their pool facility without notice. Been a member for decades, now I'm going to 24hr fitness for less and get more out of a gym.

It is a nice gym to go to, plenty of parking spaces. They need to keep up on their curtains up more often, for some reason there missing or ripped. Must have some crazy people enjoy ripping the shower curtains.

I suggest for you to use the 3 or 5 day pass for free to try out the gym. Instead of paying. Just dont let them know your traveling just tell them you are testing out the gyms.
Yes! there is a large beautiful swimming pool! Very nice. :) And super clean, jacuzzi too!
