Attorney Eva Zelson Esq. came highly recommended by other attorneys. She was very understanding, knowledgeable, confident and made herself highly available and responsive to any questions I had during a matter I needed help with. She came up with a great plan which lead to the best possible outcome for my situation. Would recommend her without hesitation.

I didn’t even get to speak to an attorney because they just keep on asking for my personal information; email… I don’t understand why that is necessary now when I’m not even in contact with the attorney. I mentioned politely that I don’t mind sharing that information once I speak to an attorney because it’s personal and you already have my full name and number. They’re rude!

Had two consultations in one week over two separate incidents with Derek Demeri. Why hope to never need his services, I feel very confident with the firms mission and values and ability to deliver for clients as promised.

I fully endorse my Attorney Madam Eva Zelson for her tireless work toward Civil Rights. She is a staunch advocate and she has set the bar!!! Her in depth knowledge of the legal system, compassion, kindness and strength restores my faith in attorneys, and the legal system. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. What really surprised me from day one was her tenacity...she doesn’t give up on her clients. Eva explains everything in great detail, and in a way that you need to hear it. Also I was surprised that she and Mr. Zeff are members of many civil rights organizations! If you are looking for a strong attorney that can argue and “restore order to the chaos” .....look no further to Madam Zelson. She is very personable!! Thanks Eva for all that you do!!👌🏽

Questions & Answers

Can you sue your employer for not giving you hours?

Max Kang | Sep 17, 2021
Zeff Law Firm, LLC | Sep 17, 2021

If you don't have an employment contract or bargaining agreement to protect you, employers can reduce your working hours at any time. It isn't illegal in the United states to reduce your working hours. If you don’t like it, you can negotiate, freelance, or try to find a new job. However, without being notified of a pay cut, the amount cannot be reduced from the employee’s salary. If an employer cuts an employee’s pay without informing him, it is considered a violation of a contract. A skilled employment employee attorney can help you determine your options for pursuing legal action.

How do I sue my employer for unfair treatment?

Fred Taylor | Sep 17, 2021
Zeff Law Firm, LLC | Sep 17, 2021

If you feel that you have been treated differently or less favorably at work, you may be protected by laws enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Unfair treatment at work stems from behavior that causes the employee to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. You may have been discriminated against because of race, color, religion, education level, sex, pregnancy, national origin, disability, or age. Threats of punishment, ridicule, and unwanted jokes can also be indicative of unfair treatment in the workplace. If your boss is treating you inappropriately, contact an employment lawyer who can help you file an employment discrimination lawsuit. Contact the attorneys at Zeff Law Firm, LLC to develop a plan for legal action against your employer. Their attorneys can help you determine what options are best for your case.
