Absolutely love the people who work here. They are the best. Sweet and loving people. They have big hearts and actually care about what they do and the animals that they take care of. The animals here are very well taken care of as well too.

I bought a little shitzu from the Wayne County Dog Pound he was a little shaky at first I think he had been beat on but I give him love and give him a chance you and he's a good puppy nobody's going to sneak up on me he's always paying attention what's going on around us he really is a good dog his name is Bentley and he thinks he's the baddest dog around he's a little midget but he is a good dog I really do care about him

Once your application is approved you could potentially take a dog home the same day. We do recommend putting in your application early and we will keep it on file for one calendar year.

Not at this time. It's best to keep an eye on our website for facebook page to see which dogs are available. We do get those breeds in from time to time but they tend to get adopted very quickly. www.waynedogshelter.org

As you're heading into Wooster before you get to the circle there before the where the church is that on the right you should be a dog groomer but now it's Wayne County dog rescue very good people I don't know if they're full or anything best thing I can tell you is go talk to him they are good people I've had my dog for 2 years now that I'm took over him and he's a wonderful dog the bad thing about it is or taking that little girl's best friend that's hard on them I know it was hard on me when my furbaby died after 16 years I make sure that this is the only choice that you can make
