I empathize with your employee shortage issues, but as a customer courtesy, when your deli is closed, would you consider posting notice at entry. This would alleviate frustration experienced after nearly completing shopping and arriving at the deli only to find it closed. I have nearly exclusively shopped at your store for 40 years, but will need to consider alternatives if this issue cannot be improved.

It’s not possible to rate this place low enough. The cashiers overcharge because the signing isn’t right.. or their system isn’t maintained. They won’t talk to you. They could care less.. and there’s no one else around. All frozen items will melt before you find a anyone willing to speak to you.. or anyone in customer service regarding anything.. It was a moment of temporary mental weakness that made me go there to shop as they are nearby, but that was a mistake. The overcharging would have paid for my gas to go elsewhere.. almost anywhere else within about a hundred miles.. When one factors in the drive time versus waiting at an unmanned customer service counter for 20 minutes to get one’s money back.. I can honestly tell you.. Driving to Meijer does not seem that bad.. What is really erosive of my desire to ever set foot in this Kroger again is how so absolutely desolate their environment becomes when there is an issue.. people scatter.. well.. if there even was anyone there scatter.. 2 cashiers with zippered lips.. No mgr to be found anywhere near the front.. maybe in the store.. who knows? A sign at customer service saying someone may return in 15 minutes.. That’s cool.. I’ll wait watching all my food melt in my cart.. Or leave overcharged.. Looking around there is no one.. You are on your own.. Not even a randomly wandering employee wearing a nonsensical badge declaring they might actually do something. What is very clear there is that no one there cares about you at all.. or maybe it’s me.. Maybe they just don’t care about me. Either way.. Good luck.. as for me.. I’m tired of playing my part in this charade Kroger refers to as their Wayne Ave location. Might as well be an empty lot.. I’ve never had an empty lot rip me off and be so completely blatant about it.. I’ll shed a tear if they close it if you can find one person who actually gives a tinkered d@mn about anyone who shops there.. What a disappointment.

This place is so under-staffed, I never wait for less than 20 minutes in the checkout lane. It's often 30 minutes! Maybe if Kroger would pay their employees decent living wages, they could keep them!

This location is a joke. I tried to get an order for groceries delivered between 3-4PM. Now it's just sitting there shopped and delayed. Pick up won't pick up the phone and the operator hung up on me. Instacart is better.
