We wanted to build a corner hearth base with flagstone and needed a large flat stone for our wood stove to set on. Angie at Guthrie's Stone was outstanding to work with. She helped us personally with ideas and showed us their huge assortment. We found everything we needed at a great price. I wish I would have come to Guthrie first today! I bought a beautiful basalt birdbath shaped stone at Victory Greens months ago and needed a variety of smaller splash rocks to surround it with. I went to 4 stone yards before landing at Guthrie's. I have driven by many times and thought from the road that their yard looks well-organized. They did not disappoint! They had a great selection for us to browse. We got prompt service and helpful suggestions for getting the best match and splash sound. And the prices were very reasonable.

Lady who owns the place was pretty rude They make you load your own stone No help whatsoever. Had to “roll” the 100+lbs slabs of flagstone off the pallet. Finally gave up. The stone is very overpriced!!! I mean extremely, as in more than double the norma price. Went down the street and got the same stone they were charging $.50 a Lb, for $.20 a pound!!! Looked like they had a good selection so I stopped in, which they do, but I won’t be back and wish I would of went to IMC FIRST!! I would of saved $400 on my $825 order!!
