This location clearly has substandard management. I hope that I can primarily deal with SSI online. SSI is where anglos go to be reminded of the racist hate felt by other citizens. This branch is an incubator for racism exactly like a jail or prison.

The Lakeport SS office is useless to anyone. There is nobody to do anything but answer the phone. The website says that they are open. But that's not true. I wasted expensive gas for nothing.

My call will randomly disconnect and they don’t call you back, so you have to call back and go through there endless chatter and pressing numbers to get to a person. My favorite thing is when they send letters to me telling me I need to contact them by a certain date or my disability will be cut off and I call them, but the worker assigned to my case is never available, so they schedule a phone appointment but then the case worker never calls on the appointment date and time, so I have to call again only to get another appointment time that will never happen. Or you call and get through the bs of pressing numbers only to have the robot tell you all agents are busy please call back at another time and ends the call! If I could give half a star I would. It’s unprofessional to not make your appointments and then send threatening letters of cutting off someone’s only income because there is paperwork that still needs to be done but there is no way of doing it unless the agent calls you back!!!!!

Yes you need to make an appointment. The social security administration sees 100s of clients per day, not just you. Be patient, wait for your turn and all your questions and worries will be resolved. God bless :)
