Panera Bread

Lately, Panera hasn't been impressing me. I've had some horrible experiences at the one in Statesville and Mooresville, however this location delivered on a speedy service at the the drive thru line and my order was wasn't missing any items.

I love Panera Bread and I want to love this location, but it's a disappointment every time. I always use the drive-thru, waiting doesn't bother me. I'm totally understanding of our current staffing issues and have much respect for anyone that shows up for work anywhere. It's the forgetting food, getting the wrong order, running out of things (which I do understand), no utensils, slimy lettuce, mushy turkey, etc. The last time I went, I paid $16 for small soup and half a sandwich and drink. The soup was amazing, no spoon, but I can work with that. When I opened the sandwich to see they used plain white bread, that was it for me. When someone is paying almost $7 for half a sandwich, I think substituting the bread is something the customer should be informed of and given the option to choose something else. I hope they do better, I'd never complain over just one thing, but I have yet to be impressed. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

A delicious breakfast from Panera. Just got the Sausage, Scrambled Egg, and Cheese on a Ciabatta. Yum! Great as always.
