We have been coming here for years. Clean and quiet. Lots of trees to camp under. Close to quite a few small lakes. Always a good experience.

Great place but no sewer hookups. Showers and garbage is all located at the front of the park. I understand water conservation however a set of showers in the back of the park and garbage bins throughout the park would help, otherwise it's a hike to take care of either. Getting someone to answer the phone at the gate isn't going to happen even when they're sitting there and you can see them through the window ignoring it.

One of the best camping experiences I have ever had! They have great camp sites that are extremely clean and very well taken care of. The vault bathrooms are just as spotless and they also have a shower/flushable toilet area at the beginning of the campground. 110 AC and RV electrical hookups are available but only in the A loop. I found the B loop to be nicely spaced out and the perfect spot for a week long tent camping trip. Linda and John were amazing hosts and they made sure we had everything we needed the moment we started to unpack. These two are some of the nicest people I have met in a long time and if you are lucky enough to spend some time up here be sure to say hi to them for me! 5* camping trip and we will be back! Amenities: Electric hookups(A loop ONLY), vault toilets (spread out between campsites), flushable toilets, showers, fresh drinking water wells near bathrooms, RV sewage dumping (for a fee), firewood available for purchase, dumpsters for garbage, trails nearby. Pricing: A loop with electricity ($37/night) B loop withOUT electricity ($29/night)

Camped here on Thursday, 5/4/22. Disappointed that the CG prices on the signage and website are more than posted. This campground is maintained by a private company and prices cost more. $30 for a site with no hookups, $37 for a campground site with electric and an additional $7 to dump and fill with water. Half price with Senior Pass for sites only. Also, be prepared to pay with check or exact cash, no change or credit cards. Sites are well maintained although the first electric site, #5, had no electric but I was still required to move or still $37. Bathrooms are clean. Freshwater fill at the dump site has a hose so you can't use a water filter. I ended up connecting a filter and hose at the fresh water fill at a restroom. Probably not legal though.

Yes in fire rings as long as no other fire restrictions are in place.
T-MOBILE hit and miss.. can't wait for 5g then there should be no issue using T-Mobile!!
Around 7500+
It's a little close to the road for me.
T-mobile doesn't work very well
Is open 8 am to 8 pm for cleaning 1 to 2 pm but always is less than that
If you are reserving you can do that on line but you should really do that as far in advance as you can. They keep a few sites for walk-ups. I think you can call to check the status but that is subject to change with the next person who shows up and takes the first come first served sites.
They were open in July 2020 when we were there. You had to get a shower pass from front desk.
Good OLE Canyon Point Camp pick me up and I will get you hook ups 50% off lol
Contact the host, 2 weeks ago, no it was propane only. But it has rained the last couple of days. That is probably a very fluid type of situation
Yes, there is a parking lot east of the showers near the dumpsters.
No and no ETA yet.
No fires or charcoal Propane fire rings ok
Yup
Yes, but not directly on the site. There is no water surrounding thr campground. You will have to walk or drive a few miles to get to the others.
Yes for a $6 fee you can use the showers, refill your water jugs, dispose of trash, buy firewood, and use real toilets. Keep in mind that the showers are only open certain hours. I think it's 8am-8pm The best time for the showers is midday. No waiting usually.
There is lakes and streams with in 5 miles but not close walking distance
Yes you can us your pass...this is a US Forrest Campground.
Some sites have both 30a and 110v. There are only a handful and generally are booked over the weekends.
Nat as of a couple of weeks ago and I haven't heard of any new ones.
I think there is only a few sites that can be shared.
Thank everyone for your info. Have a great day!!!!😊
I don't think the camp site will open until sometime in April. To much snow.
Yes but you need to sign up for a membership card. I think you need to do that at a ranger station. There happns to be one on the way near wood canyon lake
Is there a fire restrictions?
Yes, it is the only campground South of 260 that is open. It was full Friday and Saturday nights.
Yes
If your reservation is ready before 2:00, yes they will let you check-in early!!
I don't know of any cabins to rent on this campground. You rent a spot for your tent, RV, or trailer.
