Mary, you can drop off household (non-commercial use) batteries anytime we are open. Hours are M-F 8a-8p, Sa 8a-7p, Su 10a-6p. No special packaging needed except for taping the terminals on 9 volt batteries. Please separate alkalines from rechargeables.

Sorry, we do not carry the Vortex phone batteries, nor do we sell phones. We do accept non-commercial batteries for recycling.

Will Batteries + Bulbs accept a sealed lead acid battery for recycling? I have an old 12-volt Sears home-use air compressor and it seems the battery inside it will no longer take a charge.
