Over the phone, while making the appointment, we were told we could bring our own dye and color in preparation for a cut, bleach, and dye job. When we arrived for the appointment, we were told we could not use our own dye. Obviously there mustâve been some miscommunication between the receptionist booking appointments and the stylist, but because the products listed on Yelp did not match the description of products displayed in the salon, namely the bleach, my fiancĂ© opted to just get a hair cut instead. The stylist responded, rudely, saying that âBecause youâre wasting my time, weâll have to charge you for the cut on top of the $50 booking fee.â We understand time is money, but there are other ways to communicate this to your clients, especially when thereâs been a mixup on the salonâs end. Furthermore, my fiancĂ© didnât know who she was talking to because the stylist never introduced themselves. However, we did catch that it was Jasmineâs station. Regardless of the miscommunication brought on by receptionist and stylist, customers should never be shamed or made to feel like a burden. This stylist really had the gall to tell us we were wasting her time. This business charged $50 to essentially sit my fiancĂ© in a chair and literally talk down to her. Donât let other reviews make a fool out of you like it did us. When you think youâve landed firmly as the place to get your hair done, I implore you to look elsewhere, like at a business that respects customers and isnât so obnoxiously unprofessional. If I could give this place a negative star rating, I would. $50 wasted. Edit - 7/8/22 In response to the ownerâs reply; 1. You didnât address your employees rude behavior. 2. We never fully agreed to bleach service, but saying we did doesnât surprise me since the business seems fraught with miscommunication. Furthermore, the bleach you have listed on yelp DO NOT match whatâs on your shelves. Iâm sure bait nâ switch isnât âvery standard in this industry,â is it? 3. We were never told to bring in color to match color there. If that had been the case, maybe your staff wouldnât have so rudely explained that she didnât have any color and would have to go buy some. 4. After being told we were âwasting her time,â after spending not more than 10 minutes there, of course we walked out. Who wants to be treated that way? Unless this is âvery standard in this industry for first time clients.â 5. Iâm sure you feel real bad about something you werenât there for and didnât properly address.

I came in saturday afternoon with no appointment and got right in the chair, i was lucky because someone had cancelled their appointment
