I had pre op meeting with Dr Guerrero and let him know I was a single father and did not have a ride after surgery and he said it would be ok. Communicated that with pre op phone call from the hospital and still Dr Guerrero's office tries to talk over me and tell ME that I could not get a ride. I was there on operating day in a gown ready to go. Now they have dropped me as a patient after trying to explain to his office manager and her hanging up on me. I think they should at the very least act like professionals. Fyi.

Dr. Patrick Guerrero performed a hip transplant surgery on me six months ago. My experience was very good. I thank God for putting this excellent doctor on my path. My quality of life changed significantly. He and his staff are very efficient. They always answer all my questions. I would recommend them 100% to family and friends thanks to Dr Guerrero.

Dr. Patrick Guerrero performed a hip replacement on my mom. Dr. Guerrero was very attentive to her concerns and questions. He took the time to listen carefully to her and answer all her questions. He genuinely cares about his patients. In addition, his office staff is prompt in returning calls and following up with paperwork.

Yes she does, Maria! She should have her primary doctor refer her! Edit: Upon seeing some of the additional answers added. It is in the office policy that all new patients need a referral from their primary treating physician to be seen. It is true not all insurances require a referral/authorization to be seen, but it is still required as records are reviewed before being scheduled.
Since he is a specialist, they usually require a referral from a doctor you've seen. All I can say is, just call the office at Dr. Guerrero's and explain your situation and ask them if you could still make an appointment with him. I hope they let you. Best of luck to you! : )
Yes, the doctor's office of where you are mainly being treated for your injury is the office that will fill out your forms. Be aware that ALL offices charge a fee for this. Be sure to ask what it is if they don't tell you. Some are as high as $50.00. The average was about $35.00. Best of luck in everything, I wish you well.
