"Axel" picked up my food for delivery from Betty Lou's (I called to check). He phoned me 2 times asking if I wanted to "cancel my order" as he couldn't "find" my hotel for delivery. (I can find the hotel via MAPS, SO CAN A DELIVERY PERSON) Said "No, I'm patient." He never showed up at ALL. He then had the audacity to charge my food & the TIP. Then, a "survey" came to email from Postmates asking to rate service. No word from them after detailing this THEFT experience. HAD TO PLACE DISPUTE WITH CREDIT CARD COMPANY & WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!π€¬

Ordered a pizza, but it never arrived. I got a refund on the pizza, but not the tip. It's such a hassle to contact anyone with this company. I've tried using the app again, the chat never connects or starts up. You can't call bc the line is always giving a busy signal. I will contact the bank who will fix this and will NEVER use this service again. I've ordered thousands of dollars in food from DoorDash and never once have I had an issue like this one. Sometimes they would make mistakes, but always fixed it and getting ahold of someone is fairly simple.

On 12/19/2021 I placed an order through Walmart +, which is a subscription service that allows a Customer to order goods off the Walmart Website. The order is picked by a picker and the order is delivered by a 3rd party Postmates which is the company I am complaining about. The order# is 6242138-206141. Items in this order contained our Christmas Turkey that my husband was going to smoke, Christmas presents for my Grandparents and my Siblings and some groceries. The order was confirmed and supposed to be delivered on 12/20/2021 between 8am and 9am. Around 9:30 am I realized that my order had not been delivered yet so I went to check my phone. I opened the Walmart + app and it showed that my order had been delivered and a picture was attached. The place where that order was delivered was not my home which meant that Postmates's driver delivered the wrong order to the wrong home.. It seems like the driver delivered my order to the wrong home. I tried to call Walmart + and reach a live person and went through the absolute run around with their phone system. I called 5 times and tried to get someone to talk to but the phone system kept disconnecting the call. So I went on Chat. The Customer Service from the Chat was despicable and they couldn't re-pick or re-send the order. They said they use Postmates for deliveries and said that I should contact Postmates. Postmates does not have a customer service phone number and you cannot contact them unless you placed an order through their app. I messaged Postmates though Facebook and I got apathy. They were not willing to receive a complaint. They were not willing to look into the issue. They told me to complain to Walmart and that there is some sort of internal process. I think its horrible that both companies are so incompetent that they cant even communicate with each other in an attempt to make things better for the customer and they feel the need to take the customers money without delivering any goods.

You may have been scammed. There is a scam thats been happening where people create a bogus acct and have you picking up bizarre and/or small orders for like, 1 soda or a corn tortilla. The delivery address is not really theirs either. Then what they do is call you via the apps spoofed numbers and ask you to pull over and verify account info for any variety of fairly legitimate sounding reasons. They play on your being distracted and sense of urgency affecting your thinking. If i hadn't read about it several times in the Postmates reddit forum i might not have caught on right away when they tried to scam me. I reported them right away and Postmates deactivated their acct.All that being said, if anyone claiming to be postmates contacted you during a delivery or any time and asked for your number and password for any reason you should change your password immediately. Also go check your banking info in the fleet app & if it's not your bank acct screenshot whats there and change it.
