Do not like how the gym is reserved by certain people without notice. Plus the people that tend to reserve the gym are extremely rude. Coming back to this review four years later. I haven’t been here in a long time and decided I wanted to stop. For some reason day passes are no longer offered and the gym was yet again reserved by someone. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was very disappointed when I walked in. I do not live in Corning. I live in Elmira. I drove out to Corning where my sister lives and she has a membership. They woukd not allow me in as a guess to work out in their gym unless I bought a membership. The lady was rude and said it was because of covid. Oddly enough, no one was social distanced, wearing masks, nor did I see hand sanitizer out. And yet, covid was the reason I couldnt come in as a guest. I will NEVER come here again.

If you are not experiencing any symptoms, but you have traveled out of state, once you receive your negative test result you can come back to the Y. So, you should be OK to return. You can take your health screening before your visit at https://rochesterymca.org/scan

I just called them, and they have an application to see if a person is eligible. The girl I spoke to thinks it's just for active duty, not veterans.

Call them, they have several scales. If you have health insurance, possibly membership is a benefit, if you are eligible for Silver&Fit.
