THE DEMON
Mike Wendling
Amazing experience to say the least! My team and I did a lot of research before going to meet this entity. It did not disappoint.
Diane Watters
Was great to be able too see the house in real time,, disappointing to find out that now appointments have to be made in advance to your it. Will in the future try for a visit.
Travis Gilbert
It was great

hey you should probably move
Zan - We do not have the house available for parties but we do allow tours and paranormal investigations with limited numbers. Thanks
Based on what I've seen demons often portray themselves as children, to gain trust, or decieve people for their own malicious purposes. The scatching on walls is another sign and the scratches on him that came in 3s a mockery of the father son & holy ghost. So yes I believe based on the story if it's true it is a demon.
You can visit thesalliehouse.com to learn the real story, get facts not hearsay. Read about the experiences of others, read news articles pertaining to the house and it's early occupants and much more. This is a house with a dark past and has potential for great danger. Please be informed as much as possible before going to this location
i also came from Sam and Colby
Rumor has it that yes a demon does reside on the property. Google the history on the house. It's pretty interesting. I did bedore we went out to tour the house.
Hi Scott! We manage the house for the owners via Tourism for Visit Atchison. We charge $100 per a person for an overnight, and $150 for up to 10 people to take a guided tour. We only offer self-guided tours during our haunted season (Saturday's in Sept. and Oct. for $10). The house is privately owned. You can find out more information at www.visitatchison.com/haunted-atchison.
I'll have to check that out. At one time they were letting people stay. I'll get back to you later today. Please contact Maryjane Sowers at The Atchison Visitors center. She can give you more info on this matter.
A lot of this depends on whether or not the ancient Indian burial ground underneath has been removed or left to build the new house on.
The Buzzfeed unsolved episode you can find on YouTube goes into good detail about the history of the house, hauntings, etc. !
all of the information is on our website at www.visitatchison.com/haunted-atchison the overnights are $100 per a person. We also offer group paranormal investigations on set dates for $65.
How can I just ask the owner directly? I m a truck driver so obviously I travel a lot.
Just Google Atchison commerce or Sallie House and you can find out how to reserve the house for the night.
The house is not for sale. There IS paranormal activity in the house. They also offer overnight stays through The Atchison Chamber of Commerce.
It's It's that Sallie is a demon who has taken the shape of a little girl to lead men to their deaths
Hey Tracy, for a self-guided tour for 1hr it looks to to be $20 per person! I don't see anything for upcoming tours they are giving at the moment. If you have more questions feel free to call The Chamber of Commerce in Atchison Kansas and they should be able to answer any remaining questions you may have!
No I have to disagree I have lived in this town all my life. I grew up near the Sallie house. Sallie however is a little girl. Now there are demons in there, the instance the maid I believe could be a demon. She wasn't well liked to my understanding she was black and was caught having a affair with the owner of the house. This was really frowned on back then. There is a movie called the heartland ghost. Was told it is based on the Sallie house. Hope I've helped you some by this
Yes it only scratches men but I think your confused. Sallie is not the demon the demon is in the basement which is off limits to the public.
Can't answer other then that say her spirit will always remain there
I live just a house away and just faintly heard them, met them and everything, pretty cool guys
You can pay and stay the night. You can't sleep in the beds though, so bring sleeping bags/air mattress.
It sure looks like it but im not 100% sure on that
Oh so if you're a paranormal investigator and you try to exercise the spirit out of Sally's house then what good is it if everyone wants to go there if it's haunted it won't be haunted no more
The story goes that she died during appendix surgery at the house. The doctor started the surgery before the anasthesia began to work.
Very much so if you haven't checked out the history of the Sallie House you need too cause the 2 ladies I spoke with payed for one night and when I asked if they were going to go down to the basement they replied "Oh No! They didn't want any part of that.
No one lives there. It's kind of more of a museum, people tour and look around and some go looking for paranormal activity
Go to www.visitatchison.com to book an overnight tour or a one hour daytime self-guided tour. When you book you have access to the entire house except basement.
$18/person. You can book online at www.visitatchison.com Thank you!
Said to be the most haunted house in America so I would go! Went there a few months ago for a daytime tour and there is most definitely a heavy feeling in that house.
Idk. I think it was just families.
Yes, it's a self guided tour, everyday from 12-4. Must purchase tickets at the Santa Fe Depot. Check out Atchison Kansas website.
Wow did you really rent it for a week? Just wondering? Lol what happened if you did.
There is supposedly ghosts and demons trapped in the house, if you want to learn more, Buzzfeed Unsolved explains it at the end of this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx8JkGHaGUI , and they also explore it
I've investigated the house twice and can 100% say that it is haunted.
Yep yep, and many more spooky tales about this place. Personal fave is the bloody scratches appearing on bare pieces of skin.
Sallie was the name of the little girl that died in the house. The house of owned by a doctor and her took her there for an illness. She had a ruptured appendix and died during surgery at the house
It's $100 per person. So in your case, $300.
Overnights are $100 a person if the date is available. You will need to fill out a lease agreement, then pay $100 non-refundable deposit to hold the date. Each person will pay $100 and fill out a waiver prior to your stay. Overnights cannot exceed 10 people. Mroe information and the lease are at www.visitatchison.com
To go inside I know you have to make an appointment
There is a distinct possibility for spirit attachment and influence that may become apparent during, or after, your visit. If anyone visits they should keep their faith strong and say a prayer when they leave that all spirits stay in the house and not come with you
I am not real sure they mostly do tours around Halloween I think....
Hiii
Yes you can during certain times you can go during the week I believe.
The popular story that a young child was brought to the Dr. Who lived there is simply a tall tale. There is NO historical information to back up this story and the configuration of the house does not support this theory. To gain factual and 1st hand information visit thesalliehouse.com
from what i have read, sally is maybe a demon who took the form of a young girl. History of the house shows there was a person named Sallie in the house but she was an African american full grown women
How do you know WHAT this ghost wants?
Many
There are multiple stories about Sallie, but none of them have been confirmed
Yes, you contact the Atchinson Chamber of Commerce. They handle the bookings and tours for The Sallie House.
No but very active at least while I was there.
Actually it's named after a little girl who haunts the house. She is supposedly a demon portraying as a girl. She is known to be vicious and possessive
Pretty sure the tour is like 60 not positive though. I stayed there Oct 12 it was interesting to say the least.listening to recorder now picked up a lot more than we heard.
They allow overnight stays. I wouldn't recommend it though
