Seems like this hospital has gone downhill from when I was younger. From my experience (not speaking for everyone) is there is a general lack of caring and patience here. I know countless folks who will drive to Vancouver in an emergency than go here. It's sad to see that there are some wonderful people here but a lot more uncaring ones. As my experience went tonight. Total lack of caring or even effort to try to test or evaluate my condition. I was pushed out the door really quick which wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that my condition is serious and I wasn't taken seriously. So probably best to stay away from here. I have many other horror stories that this hospital should've been sued for.

a joke of a hospital. As a caregiver I would expect better service and faster times for getting called. There have been people before me waiting 5 hrs in counting. I've been so outing 4 hrs in counting. I came in here with having gone 4 or 5 days non stop on the toilet with diarrhea. Pretty sure I'm very dehydrated, but doesn't seem like they really care for their patients. Wouldn't recommend anyone here.

The worst experience of my life in the ER!! The nurse was the worst! Talk about cold and calloused. I was in so much pain , and it seemed to make her angry. Never have I experienced or witnessed such cold harted cruelty. Thank God they transferred me to another hospital, she probably would have killed me if given the chance! And I do not joke or lie. I do not make more of a situation than what it is. I have been on this planet long enough to have met all kinds and believe me I am scared to meet her again in a vulnerable position. Scared for anyone else who should find themselves in such a spot. I hope someone gets her out of there before a child is subjected to the evil this person is capable of. If I could remember her name I would defanatly divulge the information, but I wasn't in the mood to even care at the time as I was afraid for my life for more than one reason. Just be careful not to leave anyone alone in that place please! Especially children. That's my review. Good luck.

If you’re an LGBTQ person, I’d avoid this place if you can. Went in for a nerve study, Dr. McNab looked at me (a trans woman, but pass for female 100% of the time until I tell the doctor) and wrote “patient is male” in my notes. I’d asked the nurse (who was very kind) prior to the Doctor coming in to update my medical chart in the system as it also had me marked as male, but she was locked out of that function and said she’d ask the Dr. to do so. Obviously that didn’t happen, and there didn’t seem to be any option for transgender patients. I should’ve gone to Portland instead. Nothing quite like being insulted when you’re already not feeling great. Heck, the hospitals in Texas where I grew up were better than that.

I think its 6 or 7am.
1 person family only ICU. If its a semi private room again for safety reasons 1 person only. If a private room We've had 3 people in a room. Cloth or paper mask. No 95 with vent.
Hi, the rules protecting patient privacy set strict guidelines for how patient information can be shared. There is an excellent summary provided by the US Dept of Health and Human Services online at www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/faq/187/what-does-the-hipaa-privacy-rule-do/index.html
No. But Legacy Salmon Creek and Southwest both do.
Why can't St John surgery for him? Because of the missing money, right? His father is absent. He is dying. I am a foreigner. I can not believe that money is more important than his life.
Sending prayers for him and his family

It's possible because they accept most health insurance. Your best bet is to call and speak to the Finance Dept. or go to the website : they might have some frequent answers 4frequent questions asked. You are asking Google reviewers.

You can go to St. John's or the Cowlitz Family Health Center. Call to discuss this with a health professional, who can advise you properly.
