We recently moved into the area and decided to try Peggy's for lunch after church. The food was good, and there was a decent amount for the price. The staff was pleasant as well. Two of my three kids got the chicken planks and absolutely loved how crispy they were. For my side salad I asked for blue cheese dressing, which is my go to, and was told they don't have blue cheese, but they have a mix they make of blue cheese and French, which I decided to try and really enjoyed. We'll definitely go back. For those considering stopping here, just be aware that they are cash only. There is an ATM on premises. I imagine there may be a usage fee, but can't say for sure.

We love to go to dinners and this was great. It was established in1959. Nice waitresses, good food. It's cash only.

This is a great place for a family meal that won't break the bank. Fun and friendly staff and great home style food. This past December, we were looking for a place to get together for a birthday dinner. We unexpectedly ended up with a party of about 20 of us. We decided on Peggy's Diner and showed up without much warning for their small staffed restaurant. The waitresses went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our birthday dinner was such a blessing for the "birthday boy" (who just turned 70) and for all of us.

Service was quick and delicous. Home made breakfast was perfect. They served us breakfast even though we showed up last minute. Country fried steak with sausage gravy was crispy and my favorite. Potatoes with gravy was not a bad choice either. Definately a place to stop if you have cash and want a good meal.
