Rented and used Lion's Shelter (Lake Sacajawea) August 5, 2017. Lovely area and we will use it again. Only drawbacks were: 1) the shelter was very littered...we had to borrow a broom from park staff and clean it up. Cigarette butts all over, and about a dozen egg shells under one table. Definitely not clean (and we paid for it); and 2) the bathrooms near Lion Shelter were horrible! No toilet paper, wet toilet paper on the wet floor, plugged toilet, toilet that had overflowed, etc. Needs just a little TLC.

I love all the different events they have throughout the year! My husband and I try and run the Turkey Trot 5k every Thanksgiving, we've taken Sushi classes, and he plays in the adult slow pitch leagues. There is something for everyone and anyone!!

Questions & Answers

Is there a fun run at Lake Sakagawea on New Years eve into the new year??

There used to be one that was on Midnight new years eve, but no there is no run on the eve or the day. Maybe something to think of for the future.
