This book sale is amazing! Mostly a charity for decent knowledge sharing. The prices are criminally low while the quality of some books are surprisingly great. Love it so much ❤️

I'll ask the category sorter if he wants them and get back to you. Sarah Hatcher Assistant Coordinator The Category Sorter felt the magazines were too old to sell here so please recycle them. Thanks for asking. Sarah Hatcher
We accept encyclopedias from before1920 or after 2000. Sarah Hatcher Assistant Coordinator
I'm sorry but we don't accept the magazines you've listed. Sarah Hatcher Assistant Coordinator
A limited number of people are allowed in at one time; everyone must wear a face mask; social distancing is required; there is hand sanitizer available; shoppers handle their items themselves; there is plastic separating the shoppers from the volunteers accepting payment.
When I was there, they had all the doors open for circulation (it was brisk inside). They do limit the number of customers as well, but I do not know the occupancy percentage or total number. I go on Monday afternoons, and the crowd is usually smaller. I hope this helps.
The Friends have ended their donation cycle for the moment. We will begin accepting donations again and Saturday, November 21.
We certainly hope so. We're figuring out the date right now. Please check the website
The Book Sale ends today, July 21, with Bag Day. We do have a Not-For-Profit Day on Wednesday, July 22, 1pm-6pm, but that is not open to the public, only to nonprofit organizations, teachers, and the clergy. Sarah Hatcher Assistant Coordinator
We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-3pm. We'll stop taking donations on Saturday, June 20, to get ready for our Summer Sale which starts July 4 weekend. After the Sale we'll take donations again beginning Saturday, August 1.
You can drop off books at the 509 Esty St building where the Sale is held from 9am-12 noon on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings or any other time we are open.
