You can contact the church to find out when they do baptisms God bless you and hope you can make it one Sunday they also have different classes for you and your children if you have them This is a great place to learn about God!
Um No it's a Christian church why would it be closed
Yes Maria, this is a Baptist church. For more of what we believe visit https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/about
https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/about/meet-the-staff
You can find the basics of the church's beliefs on the website at (https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/about) all preaching and teaching will be in line with these beliefs. If you have further questions about the church doctrine there are several staff members, as well as the pastor, that are available after services. Sunday morning services are at 8:30 and 11:00, Sunday evening service is at 5:00, and Wednesday evening Bible study is at 7:00.
The church has several singing groups but not in the style that is typically labeled as gospel. If you would like to know more about the style of music you can check out West Coast Baptist College on YouTube https://youtu.be/Ux3EduZS-nk
If there is transportation, call at least one hour before.
The word sabath is the saturday, but Christians celebrate sunday as the day of rest because is the day of Lord Jesus resurection, so apostle Paul stated in one of his letters in the bible about meeting the first day of the week to worship, the first day is the sunday , and the apostle John got the revelation on the Lord's day that was sunday, so the disciples started to celebrate Jesus on sunday since it was the resurrection of our Lord , the greatest hope in the universe
I came to that belief when i was 19 years old , when i realized and was surely a sinner, who cannot save myself, like a murderer who runs away from the justice, even after 50 years doing great works for the society but he still a muderer, once captured he shall be convicted as murderer, and then when i learned from the bible that God loved me soo much that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him including me ,should not perish but have evelasting life, and that if i confess my sins and repent from them and accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ , then i will have eternal life in Jesus, thus me following Jesus, now why that church? I follow Jesus and not a denomination, when i visited the first time that church 9 years ago i saw how young people at time of prayer use to kneel and pray, the pastor preached and still preach the gospel, salvation through Jesus death and resurrection, and forgivness of sins through his blood, and preaching only what the bible says.
Call the church, and they will direct to the bus outreach department. Just tell them your adress, and they will pick your kids up if they are of age :)
