For 2 years my jaw kept locking and popping and it came to a point where I could barely open my jaw to eat. When I came to Dr. Pribyls office, he knew exactly what was wrong and 6 months later my jaw has never felt better. I can eat and yawn like my jaw has never had a problem

I have known Dr.Prybil for many years. He did orthodontics on both of my kids and treats me for TMJ/TMD. The pain in my jaw is virtually gone with the use of my appliances and my headaches are now under control thanks to Dr. Prybil. All of the staff in the office are wonderful too, especially Cetta and Sherry! πŸ˜€

The team at The Center for TMJ and Sleep Apnea are so welcoming and attentive. I can’t rave enough about how much I’ve enjoyed everyone I’ve worked with at the center. From when I walk in the door, to after hours support - the team is there for my healthcare needs. I have been seeing Dr. Jim for TMJ pain for less than 5mo. and the improvements to my jaw mobility is unimaginable. I’m appreciative of a manageable and noninvasive treatment option, and am very happy with my results to date. I have no jay clicking/pain, I am no longer snoring & feel refreshed in the mornings, and generally have like neck pain overall. Thank you Dr. Jim & team!

Questions & Answers

Is an oral sleep appliance that is made to treat snoring and/or sleep disorders coded as a medical issue or a dental issue in regards to insurance?

We are a dental office that manages and treats medical issues. If an oral appliance is recommended to manage a sleep disorder, it is coded medically even though we are a dental office.

Both Dr. Larry Pribyl and Dr. Jim Kleoppel are members of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and properly trained to assist regarding your sleep concerns. Sleep data is gathered (whether before a sleep consultation at our practice or after) that will guide the doctor's on your proper route of treatment (i.e. a home or laboratory sleep study)

Why should I use an oral appliance when I have been prescribed a CPAP?

Center for TMJ and Sleep Apnea | Sep 17, 2021

CPAP therapy is an absolute quality treatment in the management of obstructive sleep apnea. Our office offers oral appliance therapy to those who cannot tolerate a CPAP machine. Also if a patient wishes to have a smaller, easier treatment form to travel with, an oral appliance to manage snoring and sleep apnea can be very beneficial and hassle free.

My child is only 4 years old, is it too early to have him/her evaluated?

Absolutely not. it is never too early for a complimentary consultation to evaluate one's occlusion, airway and frenum sites. please call our office and ask about advantages of early orthodontic treatment.

Do you accept insurance?
