Clearly, my experience was better than other reviewers. Lot of angry travelers out there? Victoria was super attentive, friendly, and anticipatory without "over-visiting." Love and Haight > Royal C2 Lamb burger was good.

Visited here while on a layover in Detroit. After I was seated, it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to ask me what I wanted to drink. I'll add that the restaurant wasn't busy at all ( literally a busy bar and 3 other parties eating) and she never even introduced herself. Then it took about another 10 minutes for her to bring me water. I had the shrimp and grits (finally got my drink when my food came) and it was delicious which is only reason I'm giving a 3 star review. I also ordered truffle fries but they tasted like they were cooked in burnt oil and I couldn't even eat it. I couldn't even tell the waitress because I couldn't find her on the floor so I actually left it there. The food is definitely overpriced. I spent over $60 for fries, grits, and a drink. For those prices I would have at least liked to have know my server's name and gotten water in a timely fashion.

I walked in because I had never eaten at a Cat Cora restaurant and I had time due to a delayed connection. Samantha was an attentive server and recommended the salmon. It did not disappoint! Seared salmon, quinoa and sautéed spinach “salad” with a lemon vinaigrette. So good. The only disappointment was that there were only two dessert options and neither one interested me on this particular day. Service was quick and I was done in plenty of time to get back to my gate before boarding.

The food was okay but definitely overpriced. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it came with fries which came up to $20. The chicken itself was good but the toppings not so much. The staff was kind and were working really hard during these troubling times.
