Five of us and it was only 66 dollars!. Big portions with great service. Their smiles put smiles on our faces. This place has cozy and roomy seating. High top tables, window seats, booths and regular tables. A must chew.

Poor quality food. Omelet had Minimal cheese & not melted. No flavor. Chicken parmesan was like chewing rubber. No music in establishment, very uncomfortable feeling while eating. Way to quiet. Hostess was not the friendliest with customers (95% of them being elderly seniors in motorized scooters) Poor customer service. Save your $ and stuck to gast food or a coney island.

I typed in Great Lakes Diner.. The listing popped up with menu.. It's in Waterford, MI. 5834 Highland Rd. Actually called Great Lakes Family Restaurant.
Yes, Nancy, they do serve liver and onions and they are scrumptious. I'm a southern lady and have always enjoyed this dish as "smothered" in gravy. However, Great Lakes Family Restaurant doesn't use a lot of gravy, but the liver is so tender that I didn't use a knife to cut it and it melts in your mouth. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!
