It’s impossible to get an appointment. They will continue to tell you to call back in 2 weeks every single time that you call. It’s unsafe for the child especially those under 2 who need routine appointments often and shots need to be done on schedule. And if you come a few minutes late they cancel your appointment altogether. Children’ Mercy just isn’t what it used to be. We are seeking another Pediatrician.

After calling for months on end trying to schedule an appointment (check-up suggested by Dr.) and being told to call back in 2 weeks since all slots are filled, I will be looking to switch to another pediatric center. The staff is by far really nice, informative and helpful, but it’s becoming a waste of time to call so often to be told to call back in 2 weeks. I just called another pediatric center and was able to get my baby an appointment that is less than 5 days away. Hopefully they can get they’re scheduling system together sooner than later… that’s the biggest inconvenience.

I love the facility and staff. My son received great care here. Unfortunately getting routine appointments has become impossible and we are being forced to switch clinics. When you call in (as soon as you are allowed to for your next appointment because you can't book far in advance) they will tell you everything is filled. They can't even give you an appointment date, instead will tell you to keep calling back. While I have the privilege of job flexibility and being able to do so, my heart breaks for the parents that are not so fortunate. By comparison, I called an affiliate office on the plaza and was able to book an appointment in five minutes within my son's window. While I'm sure COVID has impacted their staffing levels, they should begin recommending their families to different facilities. It's in the community's best interest. If your kiddo is under the age of 2, and you want them to stay up to date on their vaccine schedules, I would recommend finding another clinic for routine care. The doctors and nurses here are amazing! It is not their fault. The hospital administration, however, needs to make some system adjustments because they are not serving the community with the current messaging.

I have no clue I don't work there
No. They close at 5:30 through the week and they're closed on weekends
Traffic shouldn't be too bad, it's not too bad because people clear out around lunch time. Endocrine is on the 6th floor.
Call them & let them know you are on your way. People tend to be more receptive if you let them know that you will be late. If unable to call, still go to the appointment. Even if they do not see the child, you can always reschedule while you are there.
It's on the 4th floor
