My family and I often split the chicken fried steak breakfast. Big, tender, gravy covered fried steak, two eggs, hash browns or homestyle potatoes, toast or biscuits & gravy. It's HUGE, fresh, and one of the best. The restaurant has a homey, Western ambiance, the two friendly owners are often there taking orders, clearing tables, in the kitchen, greeting diners, etc. It's not a huge place but that's part of the charm. It's a local treasure for breaky or lunch, along hwy 62, at the edge of town, serving traveling tourists and locals alike.

Best pancakes that I have even eaten! The staff was amazing even when it was crazy busy on a Saturday morning! The sausage patties… so tasty! Too bad I live in Iowa, I would eat here every week! Actually, stopping for breakfast on our way to the airport tomorrow!!
