Busy at 6 - lots of individuals at the bar. Didn’t have a reservation would have been a 20 minute wait - sat at the bar. Had the prime rib - was cooked as I requested - food was fresh. Boyfriend had short rib - was fall off the bone - no knife needed. Good service - friendly staff.

While visiting from out-of-town, I found Ironworks on the Find Me GF (gluten-free) app - which often seems to direct me to great restaurants (even though I don’t require GF). This place did not disappoint!!! I loved it! Our two teens loved it (a rarity)! And, my spouse (who was quarantined back at the hotel) got take out and loved it. Our waiter was impeccable and coordinated all the dine-in and take-out food, perfectly. I wanted to have a dessert, but I can’t eat the mystery ingredient “flavor” (i.e. natural flavor, orange flavor). The waiter went through the extra trouble to verify with kitchen staff that all of the desserts contained the mystery ingredient. I really appreciated that he did that. (Only suggestion is that they add desserts with no ‘flavor’ additive - just real stuff.) Outside of that, I would definitely go, again.

I love it when an old structure or building is repurposed and gets a new life. Iron Works used to be an industrial foundry but is now serving some of the best eats in the Ocean State. Great twists on classic bar food and some truly unique new dishes. The Cauliflower and Lentil Fritters are amazing. The One Pound Pastrami is a heavy, juicy, flavor-packed sandwich you can share but it's so good you won't. Shaved Steak was delightful. Fries were a great sidekick to the sandwiches. Great selection of cocktails, draft and bottled beers. Extensive desert menu if you have any room. Offering gluten free breads and deserts as well. Very friendly staff, great decor. Definitely will become a favorite.

I love this place the food blew my mind. We got the pastrami sandwich and the short ribs, they were both insanely good. Love the whole grain mustard on the pastrami sandwich, one suggestion to make it even better is to serve a sauce with it. Great atmosphere and super cool waitresses
