All bad, been lied to, had my apt changed by about 45 day as “waiting for a new seat as my model couldn’t be repaired, only replaced” (questionable). This left my much shorter partner, unable to drive our car at all. It’s not comfortable for me to drive in the position the seat is stuck in either, especially just after back-surgery, I need to be closer to the peddles to feel safe, and in less pain. After waiting 60 + days for a new driver’s seat, upon arrival to drop off my car, I was told a new seat wasn’t needed, or going to be installed.. so we waited 45 days extra, for no apparent reason?! No apologies offered, just hard to believe explanations about “certain years this and certain years that”. They did a shoddy (1st) repair job on my drivers seat, which wouldn’t move horizontally, I pointed out the bad repair at the time of pickup, about 2 weeks later the same problem returned, shocker! Second repair for seat: went to drop off the car and was told Tesla “remotely diagnosed it” and the seat just needed to be “aligned” and could be completed that night. Guess what, after a day or so, they told me to pick my car up, and now I’m waiting for ANOTHER new seat, AGAIN, I wasn’t given an ETA and the service is considered completed in my app so I cannot correspond with anyone there, they don’t pick up the phone. It seems like these annoyances are stemming from either stall-tactics, shocking ineptitude, or perhaps something untoward.. interestingly, the invoice from the first seat repair seems to show a new seat was installed, so maybe someone internally is stealing & selling parts, idk. Maybe they did install a new seat but I don’t think so, when I asked directly, “what was done on last repair”, I failed to get a direct answer. It seems like when you drop off your car, they act like they know everything so you leave feeling confident, only to be massively let down when you pick up your car. After every service, I’ve got my car back dirtier, and with a lot less range (50 miles). IMO, cars sitting outside should be washed, and all should be charged to at least the same battery-range it was dropped it off with. Very disappointing as they’re brilliant cars, their service has miles to go to be on par with any other dealership or service center I’ve encountered (Lexus, Nissan, and even Ford). I hate to say this, but it’s true.

Very difficult to communicate with Tesla. Also, I would never buy a used vehicle from them again. They far over value them and they lose value the second they drive them off the lot. As for trade-ins, they specifically told me that they “intentionally make it difficult to trade vehicles” They strung me along via text message for about eight business days and then said by the way, you have three business days to come pick up your car now that it’s available otherwise we’re sending it back and taking your deposit. This was after I paid in cash. The car is fine, but the whole experience is vastly overshadowed by the lack of desire or enthusiasm to manage a car sale by Tesla and it’s fresh out of high school workforce. Attached are photos of the used car in “excellent condition “ When I asked to clean the car at Tesla said that’s not covered by their used car policy. In my experience there was always some “offsite team“ making these decisions, which, bravo to them because you really can get away with a lot when there’s no one to face the consequences of treated people terribly.
