We boarded our our pet with Heavenly Pet Resort (“HPR”) West Covina when he was less than a year old for a couple of days and recently at the age of 4 for approximately 3 days. We ordered the VIP room because he’s a big boy and almost 130 lbs. It’s a caged boarding place and clean. However, not a lot of staffing in the evenings. He vomited on his first day and a representative from HPR immediately contacted us and informed us of his condition. We thought it could have been anxiety due to being away from home. We had a travel delay due to the airlines. Unfortunately, we were going to arrive late. We contacted HPR to inform them that we could not pick up our pet that day. HPR graciously told us not to worry and picking him up the following morning would be ok. The latest pickup time from HPR is 5:00pm. We arrived at 7:00pm. The only observation (not negative), is that HPR doesn’t appear have a lot of staffing in the evenings. Secondly, at time of pickup someone should provide you with information good/bad regarding the pet’s behavior during their stay with them. I had to ask couple of times how he did during his stay. I also think they should have webcam for customers to view their pet.

We just picked up or cat Zissou after a week long stay and they treat him with all the love and care you could hope for. We have used this location several times and after every pick up they ask if he can stay just a little longer! Highly recommend and the staff is always pleasant and helpful.

My family and I had to leave out of town for Labor Day weekend and Heavenly Pet Resort was highly recommended. The facilities were clean, the staff friendly and the pets happy. I was really blown away during the tour but also very nervous leaving my puppy since it would be her first time being boarded. I didn’t have to worry about her! The staff were amazing with her, playing with her and I would call and check on her and my puppy was doing really good! So good the staff didn’t want her to leave. This is a sign of a great place when the staff treats your pets as their own. I highly recommend Heavenly Pet Resort!
