I started taking my dogs here as soon as I moved to town. Dr. Amin comes very highly recommended by many people around town and I immediately understood why as soon as we met him. He is kind and compassionate, his love for animals is clear as soon as you meet him. I especially appreciate his approach to treatment when issues come up, he takes a very reasonable approach, explains options, never pushes expensive testing and always offers his opinion on the best next steps to take. Visiting Avenida Animal hospital is always a pleasant experience, I feel confident my dogs are getting the best care available in Orange County. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Scheduled my dog's neuter weeks in advance. They called a couple of days before the appointment to say that they will have to cancel and reschedule the appointment for the next day. Fine, that's ok & I completely understand that things happen. So that's one day off work I took off that's wasted but no big deal. Today (less than 24 hours before the appt.) I get a call saying that they will have to cancel AGAIN and reschedule for the next week. Very unprofessional. I would have been more understanding if they would have told me after rescheduling once that we are "penciling you in for the next day depending on his schedule" or will call to "confirm" the day before. But that did not take place. They ensured that the neuter would take place the next day so I took off yet another day of work. It was clear that they did not care about the massive inconvenience. They offered nothing in return to make it amends besides "it's out of our control, we can make another appointment for next week." This is no way to run a business, clearly they do not care about making their mistakes right.
