These one star reviews must be either fake or from a competitor because honestly these are some of the most truly kind-hearted, caring, and honest vets out there hands down! I cannot recommend enough they saved my dog's life mighty obliged and truly indebted to you guys!!!

My dog needed an emergency C-section at 4:00 A.M. - I live in the valley and called about a dozen 24 hour vet clinics. Not one of them had a surgeon! I wasn't about to waste my time going to any of them until I knew there was a surgeon ready to take care of my dog so she wouldn't die. Horizon said they had a surgeon on call. I said "great! Wake him up and I'll be there in an hour!" We got there at 5:25 A.M. on a Saturday morning. The vet was there at 7 and all went well. So Thankful there was a surgeon available. Really not happy about all the other 24 hour clinics - not one of them mentioned having a surgeon on call and all said "good luck". Really? It's not about luck. Thank you to all the staff at Horizon! We got 5 puppies and my girl is doing great.

Wish I can give a negative star. Front desk cut me off in the middle of me explaining what was wrong with my dog and turned him away. It is Sunday and this is the only place open my baby is struggling to breath and they didn’t even let me tell them what was wrong with him before saying their closed. I got as far as saying “ hi, i don’t know what to do my dog can’t-“ I got cut off and was told sorry we’re closed. They open at 8am. It’s 8:33am. Now I have to drive 2 hours to the nearest open hospital and hoping my baby makes it. If you care about the health of your pet do NOT go here!

I'm disappointed in the care my dog received. After her labs were run she was discharged. The vet didn't talk to me after her labs results or during/after discharge. The receptionist told us the vet tech would answer any questions. The vet tech who discharged our dog told us she didn't care for our dog so she didn't know anything. I received a typed up report 9hrs after discharge, but no one was willing or able to my answer questions. It felt like pulling teeth to get any information. I had to request the report they told me they would send. I really wanted to know the signs of her condition worsening. It's dangerous not to know this. I've never had a vet not call after test results were in. Two years ago at this same location they called me after the tests came back. Their new level of care is scary and might be dangerous. I'd try going somewhere else.

We've taken 2 of our family dogs to Horizon. They're attentive & caring. Look online, or check Nextdoor.
I realized it's a bit late, but the best thing you can do if your dog ingest something is to call the pet poison hotline and they can advise you whether or not you need to see an emergency vet or if it's something the dog can pass.
They are available 24/7 so they're working for every nickel they earn. The doctor also has a team of assists working with them too.
