I had only been to Smart and Final two other times. That is, I am a very new customer to the store and unfamiliar with their advertising. I tried to use a digital coupon Tuesday evening as the sign on the store freezer said, "Scan and Save". This is unfortunately misleading as you need to (prior to Tuesday -- preferably several days before as I was told by the Store Manager): a) Download the app b) Set up an account c) Scan the QR Code or d) Digitally clip the coupon e) And then hopefully save. None of this was described on the sign on the freezer and certainly a new experience for someone simply trying to buy some ice cream bars. Fortunately the checker, Stacy, and Store Manager helped me enormously. Huge kudos to them for their outstanding customer service!!! Chris
