Our Manicuring ( Nail Tech) program is 400hrs. And we prepare you for the State board exam to become a license Manicurist ( Nail Tech)

Yes! We do have a manicuring program here at American Beauty College. You can finish in as little as 6 months at either our West Covina or Palmdale locations!

A cosmetology/barber license will let you work in any facility licensed by the state of California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, including: •Hair Salons/Barber Shops •Esthetician in Spas •Nail Salons •Cosmetic Sales •Salon Owner •Entertainment (Film, TV, Print, Runway) •Cruise Ships •Platform Artists •Research & Development •Beauty Editors •Teachers

After you complete the hours required for your program, and have a grade of 75% or better, you will become eligible to take the California State Board Licensing Exam for Cosmetologist, Barbering, or Manicurist. Upon passing the exam, you will then become licensed in the program of your choice.
