I wish we have 0 star, I applied for Austrian visa and they lost my passport!!!! Yes, my passport, and they don’t take responsibility for it. They didn’t put any effort into looking for it. I could confirm with embassy they delivered my passport to vfs. I spent 7 hours and thei NYC office and at the end of day they told me we lost your passport and that’s what it is. Not even I missed my flight I lost my identification document.people here are super rude and useless. Never use their service

Counties and people need to stop using this place. They guard it like it's something special and then mistreat them when they do have an appointment. The experience here matches the way they are in other countries.

(Edited) lower star after issues with fedex. PLEASE READ: Company uses FEDEX whom are not reliable with shipping and getting signature for packages. Please VFS do not use Fedex. They have struggled to give me my package and have returned it to sender without making a third attempt for signature. Please note the FEDEX tracking system is unreliable and after first attempt at delivering package are problematic. (In some cases, their overnight or expedited shipping work) This part was good. Go early. Book first appointment. They don’t do walk ins as far as I know and don’t allow phones to be used in the waiting area room. They made sure I had everything. People working were nice. Line was short when I arrived but long after I left. Be sure to bring everything. It wastes others time if you need to send them it. Took 2ish hours. Took about as expected. Do not book later appointments for visa as they will be backed up and take longer. Be aware of costs at the location and bring appropriate payment. Also keep in mind of long times for visa to be sent (2-3 weeks sometimes 4) and plan accordingly. Overall a nice experience. (This is with France-Visas not Austria/others)
