Well in my experience if you don't have an appointment it's going to take awhile. I've been an Android guy from the beginning but my friends & kid want me to get an iPhone. I have to admit the camera is amazing. Since I have over 370,000views on Google Maps maybe I should get one. But I loathe having to go into one of these stores based on past experience

Yes. All shopping and tech support is by appointment only. A few walk in appointments for tech support can be made when the store opens but they fill up quickly. For buys products, buy on line and pick up in store or have mailed to you. Much easier unless you still need to touch a phone, in 2020, like a hand model, before you buy it. Lol

Attempt to solve your problem through apple support. If you must go to the store, show up 30mins before opening and wait to be signed up for a same day appointment.. this is unfortunately the fastest way.

I just bought a wireless keypad to use with an older MAC desktop. Now the "wired" mouse doesn't work. Or doesn't attached to the keypad. Is there a way to still use it or do I need to buy a wireless mouse now?

Have you tried plugging the wired mouse to the back of the desktop?
It best if you back up your phone data to the cloud before you go. This way they start the restore and you can leave and just wait for the data to restore over time. This will insure it restored correctly and eliminate a return visit.
Just bought a MacBook Pro. Unable to drag icons and Photos on desktop to different location or trash?

This might help... But may lose you data: Simply hold the "Home" button and "Sleep/Wake" button at the same time.
Keep holding until the screen turns off and then release buttons once Apple Logo appears

I know that you can get a one-on-one with them once you purchase it but I'm not sure if they offer classes anymore they used to offer classes but I'm not sure if they continue with that program.

MacBook Air is only one that is not retina and it kept it that way so they can keep the price lower than other Max and I don't think they'll change that if they change it I'm sure they will increase the price. If you're looking for something lights you should looked at MacBook only it's very light and it is retina
